Gym Essentials with My Favorite Gym Bag: The Rennen Tote
I love having all my gear organized in one easy-to-use bag, and right now, the Rennen Tote is my go-to gym bag. It’s got plenty of space for all my essentials, a dedicated bottle holder, and extra room for whatever else I need.
Swim Tips
I’ve been swimming for a few years now, and along the way, I’ve picked up some solid tips. Here are my top three favorite items in my current rotation:
1. Shokz Openswim Pro Waterproof Headphones – My newest obsession, these are so siiiiiick. These are hands-down the most exciting piece of swim gear I’ve used in years. Since I only wear them for swimming, using them feels like a treat every time. Whether it's music, podcasts, or DJ sets, they make the time in the water fly by. Here’s what I listened to during today’s swim:
¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U | Boiler Room: Tokyo
If you haven't listened to any Boiler Room set before, this is a fun one to jump into.
2. This Water Resistant Rennen Pouch for Small Gear – This little pouch is a game-changer for keeping my swim accessories organized. I use it to store everything—multiple goggles, a nose plug, soap, a swim cap—whatever I need in one place. No more digging through the bottom of my bag for loose gear. And the best part? It repels water like no other.
3. Aquaphor Trick for Chlorine Protection – If you swim in a chlorinated pool, you know the struggle of dry skin that sucks the life out of you. A former collegiate swimmer gave me a tip: apply Aquaphor before swimming. It acts as a barrier between your skin and the chlorine. Game-changer.
Lane Sharing 101
When I first started swimming, I had no idea how to share a lane with multiple people. If you're new to it, here are some basic rules to help you jump in like a seasoned swimmer:
